So much for regular journal keeping. In my defence, I haven't exactly had internet connection for the past three weeks.
Anyway, right now I'm eating popcorn at Neko's house and trying to teach ourselves how to play 'Gravity' by Sara Barielles on the keyboard. So far it's not going well.

WOO-HOO!! HOLIDAY!!!
Well, I have a whole week before I have to back to that shithole they call school. Unfortunately, I have to spend most of the week studying for Yr10 exams T_T.
But tommorow I have to tidy my room (should have been done three weeks ago) and the study (should have been done three months ago) in the afternoon. In the morning I'm catching the bus into the town to catch up with the peeps at Judo (haven't been back since I left in an ambulance two weeks ago ^^"), do some shopping, visit the library and meet up with Neko for a coffee, probably do some more shopping, and hang out for a bit.
Speaking of which, I probably ought to go get my stuff together...then I can lie in longer tommorow morning...
Oh, and the library visit+part of the shopping visit - all for new notebooks and research. JULNOWRIMO, here I come!!!
(Fair warning - you should start running now)

Two RAF helicopters landed on our school field. No kidding.
Those monsters are incredible. They're like, the least aerodynamically shaped thing I have ever seen, but they can still fly!
Have I ever mentioned that I just love love love anything that feels remotely like flying? My first ever trip on an aeroplane, I was thirteen (my family doesn't travel much) and going to Italy on a school trip. My friends graciously gave me the window seat in honour of the occasion - and immediately regretted it, because I spent the whole flight bouncing in my seat. The conversation went something like this.
Yaku: OMIGOSH, LOOK, A CLOUD!!
Me-chan: ...Yeah, because you've never seen one of them before....
Jess: My god, she's acting like a four-year old on crack....
Yaku: Well, I've never seen on from above before! OMIGOD, WE ARE FLYING THROUGH A CLOUD!!!
Anyways, suffice to say i now have a burning desire to join the local cadets. Some of my friends go, and I've sort of inquired before, but never very seriously, but I'm going along tonight to talk to the peeps who run it. I gotta go eat and change, so I will post later!

The strange nostalgia though, is a little early. I'm starting to freak a little, because this time next year I will be doing my exams and leaving high school for good! O_O. The current year eleven - girls I played with in primary school - are leaving in about two weeks? They've got their final exams and then their off! Anyway, all the teachers keep making references to YR11 and our final exams and stuff, and it's making me kind of jumpy and nervous, and wierdly nostalgic. I hate school in general, but in a way it's kind of...safe.
Although I don't know why I'm freaking out so much, I'll be back in the september to go to 6th-Form College XD. But seriously, it's freaking me out a little. I feel like I'm ready to change, but at the same time, I don't want to let go of this innocence. Constantly now when I look at my friends I'm thinking things like 'I wonder if we'll still e-mail and text five years from now...'
But at least Neko is considering coming to Durham Uni as well! :D It would so be awesome if we both ended up going there.
Although the faculty at Durham might run screaming.....XD
That's a point, I have to email her the website *smacks head*
Anyway, seeing as I feel like a change, I'm considering getting my hair cut. Hopefully before May 8th so I can have ti done before YC. At the moment it's super long and freaky wavy/curly, and I'm getting sick of people standing on it on the judo mats. T_T
So, I'm thinking sideswept bangs and spiky short layers XD. Should be awesome. That, and I wanna get a denim skirt before next YC...although then I have to figure out what shoes to wear with it...superspiky hair, denim skirt, dark top with flourescent decoration, bangles and....trainers? XD
Actually, my slim golden-brown running shoes might not look too bad with all that *thoughtful*
Oaky, I seriously need to go sleep now *yawn*. Hopefully I won't wake up to find the world has been taken over by pig flu.

Aiyaahh! I'm so stressed! O_O
I have seriously mucho schoolwork to do *groan*. And the young enterprise business presentation is coming up soon, and because i'm IT director I gotta do the basic outline of the slideshow. Monday everyone else will have the stuff we need to add to it on the school system, so I'm gonna be working through my lunchtime and staying home after school, and probably be doing the same again Tuesday. My free time is falling into a black hole before my very eyes.
I also have to type up and complete my English essay for Monday, or my english teach will probably string me up. I have an assessed piece of math to do (aka, really, really long piece of math) german, geography, and chores that I need to do. I'm seriously stressing!
Judo was fun this morning though ^^. Sensei said that I'm really coming along well, and that my Kata Guruma is particularly good.
(its the one where you grab your opponents arm, drop to the floor with their arm clamped across your neck, grab their leg and roll. If you do it right you flip over, land on top of them and smash them into the mat XD). You can also do it standing - all that means is they hit the mat even harder.
Oh yeah, one girl at my club has been selected for the girls england team! She's a year or so younger than me, about a foot and half shorter, and she moves faster than anything I've ever seen before. And she's really nice ^^. So yeah, good luck with your training, J!
I've got my first competition in two weeks in bradford. I'm so scared O_O. Sensei said I'll be one of the older ones in the open category, because I'm still a yellow belt - I started judo rather late, so I'm the oldest yellow belt in our club - so I'll have an advantage over my opponents (probably).

Yagh! I've only been back two days, but the amount of work I have to do is just....grrr! *is speechless*
Oh, trampolining was awesome today XD. It was so funny peoples reactions - I may be the sporty one out of my friends, but I'm not elite or anything, and my GCSE class is made up of the elite of the year. Normally I average aorund middle to lower scores in the different sports we do, and I'm happy with that, because I can make up points on the theory - that's just biology, and I like biology. *looks sneaky*. Anyway, it looks like if I can get my somersault down and practice my routine, I'll get a level ten in this module. yes that's right - TEN. Aka, the highest level you can get. Boo-yah. I never thought going to a club when I was ten years old would pay off in my GCSE :D. It was cetainly worth the sore tummy muscles for the shocked looks on my classmates faces - they're all so condescending sometimes T_T. My best (and pretty much only) friend in that class thought it was hilarious.
*is procrastinating terribly* Yeah yeah, I know, I should be working....

I love Judo. It's a great sport. And I like being able to threaten the pricks at my school with the whole 'You touch me/my friends and I will go super-ninja on your ass mate'. (Even if I actually can't, because Judo is self-defense only, and sensei would hang me out to dry if I couldn't justify why insert-name-here had just gone flying out the window).
But sometimes the pain after training is just too freaking much! *whimper*
I got kicked. In the head.
I hurt.
So I apologise for any typos, but I'm seeing in threes at the moment, so typing is....interesting. To say the least.
Lucy got the entire letf side of my face - so not only do I have a pounding headache, I also am having trouble moving my jaw - it's gone all stiff and painful. So no talking (my Mum is cheering - traitor) and no eating that involves any kind of chewing.
Hmph. Excuse me while I curl up in the corner and whimper.

Huh. Maybe a 48-hour bug. I feel fine otherwise, other than the occasional headache.
Aw, tonight is gonna be awesome! (And freezing). Neko and I are camping in a tent in her back garden (we're such freaks XD. You're not supposed to do stuff like this once your past eight years old). I'm just about to log off, get my lunch, and then go down to the shops to buy as much junk-food as possible. Then I need to raid the airing cupboard - and steal every single blanket in the house. Neko's doing the same thing XD. I'm just glad my brother's giving me lift into the town - if I'd had to take the bus I probably would have been stopped on suspicion of being a runaway or something. Or a murderer - god knows, my bag's big enought to fit a body ^^"
I'm about to be evicted off the computer by my brother so he can pull it apart and use the pieces for...something. I never know what he's doing. It had better be working when I arrive back tommorow, that's all I can say.

Only just got back from Me-chan's house an hour or so ago. It's so foggy here it's driving me nuts - it's meant it's got dark really quickly. But as we were driving home, the sun was just beginning to set, and it made the fog go all gold and red. It was really pretty. And hence why I wished I had already bought that camera I wanted. So now I'm doing research on camera prices, and wincing as I think exactly how long it's going to take me to save up and buy one.
I also think LJ may be addictive...I mean, four posts in two days? Sheesh.

Ah well, the film was pretty good.
Strawberries....
Oh god, don't ask. Just don't.
And now Yoshie, Me-chan and I all want to learn mixed martial arts. Except I had to point out to Yoshie we wouldn't be able to shoot Ki at each other XD. But what's really strange is that Me-chan recognised the kata they used from her karate lessons! It was sifa or something (no idea if I spelt thhat right). And then we scared everyone in the parking lot by having mock sparring matches. I now have a bleeding gum - it's all good fun!
I'm posting from Me-chans laptop, so sorry for any typos XD. This laptop hates me.

But the pic turned out really good, so it was worth it :D. I'm gonna see if Neko can scan it in for me when I sleep over at hers on Thursday. I can't believe we're going to camp in the garden in a tent - we are such idiots XD. Oh well, least we'll be able to talk all night without her brother shouting at us to shut up. *glare*
Uwaah...I probably ought to go get dressed to go out, but somehow I can't be bothered to move. I'm sitting at the computer in my pj's and massive hoodie that I nicked off my brother. with the biggest cup of coffee you have ever seen in front of me. Gah.
On a side note....

Eee! I'm really looking forward to tommorow! Although part of me can't believe I actually agreed to go see Dragonball Z of all things...*headdesk* i must have been drunk, hyper, or drugged. I blame the sugar-juice. Yoshie and Me-chan actually want to go see it because they watched the cartoon/anime version when they were little. I'm just going along for the kicks. And I have no idea why Aimee is coming O_O
....someone also pointed out that we'll be the only girls in a film-theatre filled with eight year old boys. It may have been me, can't remember. Whoever it was had a valid point.
Anyway, should be fun. We're going to KFC for lunch too, so it'll be nice to spend some time with the girls. Haven't seen them all holiday after all.
I'd better go figure out what I'm gonna wear tommorow....*gulp*
